Our Story
Giving Hope by Supporting Life
Momentum was founded in memory of Maureen Mo T. O'Brien, who lost her own battle with breast cancer. During her treatment, Mo saw firsthand how much a diagnosis can affect a family, not just medically, but financially and emotionally. Her loved ones created MOmentum to carry that awareness forward, giving other patients and families the support Mo wished every person facing cancer could have.
Mission
Our mission is to give hope to all breast cancer patients by supporting their lives and providing services that ease the day-to-day struggles they may encounter while receiving treatment.
We help through direct, practical support: bill payment assistance, house cleaning, lawn care, light home maintenance, transportation to medical appointments, and music therapy. Every service is offered free of charge, so patients and their families can focus on healing.
